6:15PM:  New venues for meetings.  Martin noted the good availability of parking in Ballard.  We discussed
Greenwood Library as a possible location that would be more central.  It was agreed to hold the next meeting at Greenwood Library.

6:20PM:  Quarterly reports.  Lori took the action item to write the quarterly report for National.

6:30PM:  Persephone, a member who has reported being bothered by a Christian group dropping off literature on
her doorstep.  This was not considered a matter that should be addressed by AU.

6:31PM:  Martin noted that he has been invited to attend a Muslim event held by members of CAIR Washington.
Not sure in what capacity, but it sounds like they are interested in Separation principles.

6:35PM:  Dave Miller discussed an upcoming speaking event on Thursday, September 27, in which he will discuss the
issue of attacks on church-state separation by the religious right, particularly under Bush administration.  He will discuss the
history of the wall of separation and of the religious right.  Event to be held at UU Humanists' group.

6:37PM:  Lori mentioned the recent Chris Hedges talk on Alternative Radio, recommended downloading.

6:40PM:  Barry Christian joined the group and handed out First Freedom First DVDs and other media.

6:45PM:  Martin discussed the December event.  He managed to get a staffer for Jay Inslee to agree to speak.

6:45PM:  Barry took the floor to discuss board practices.  Handed out "Robert's Rules Abbreviated" and led a
discussion of Robert's Rules. Suggested using email to send business items around prior to meetings so they can be
signed off quickly at meetings.  Emphasized that President is single point of contact with National and should be kept in the loop on all items.

6:55:  Barry discussed the AU Seattle action plan, suggested updating it, removing items that are completed.

7:05:  Barry suggested that we purchase a table (at least 5') and plan the layout of items on the table for tabling events.
Lori suggested acquiring a standing rack for pamphlets.

7:10:  Barry suggested adding a reading list for website:  start it off with Valerie Torico's book "The Dark Side".
Barry Lynn's book.  Michelle Goldberg's "Kingdom Coming".  David Domke's "God Willing".  Martin agreed to create a
list and run it by National.  Damon will create the webpage when list is vetted.
